Straw application allows creating quick polls, share them with the friends via social networks, sms, WhatsApp or e-mail and get fast results. It is deeply integrated with such social networks as Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn and Microsoft account.

Application can create several types of polls:

• Basic poll with one image and up to 4 answers
• The grid with up to 4 images as optional answers
• The roster with up to 4 images as optional answers
• Image overlay where one image as a background and up to 10 optional answers

There are two membership types - free and premium. Premium users have widen opportunities for example new poll styles and more answer options. In addition, they have an option to create survey with several questions.

It has been developed for 3 mobile platforms: iOS, Android and Windows Phone. We also created a web version of the application. It copies all the functionality of mobile application, except the part that uses smartphones' features like sharing poll via sms or push-notifications. The web app is responsive and thus it fits the resolution of any screen.

It hosts in Azure Cloud with Azure web services such as Azure Web Sites, Azure Mobile Services, Azure SQL, Azure BLOB and other.
